The Rips

​

The Rips are considered the doorways, that connect The Ghostly and The See-Thru.

There are many strange phenomenons that can create a Rip, but to close a Rip is practically impossible. While a Rip connects the two dimensions, it has been hypothesized that folks from The Ghostly cannot enter as easily while entities can smoothly slip out. Thanks to the unstable nature of The See-Thru and the lack of research and funding, to be able to enter a Rip and survive is known to be unthinkable.

 

An infamous Rip in The Ghostly is The Big Rip located somewhere within Darkipelago before Darkipelago was officially established. From recent observations, The Big Rip has been recorded to be "currently inactive".

Another infamous Rip is the Rip in Moonshadow Valley. It is unclear how this Rip became to be in a quiet neighborhood, but there are local rumors and legends that it was thanks to the late
Dr. ___ and his late assistant, Stitches in The Burnt Mansion. As of today, we recorded that area to be "currently inactive", but some speculate that the Rip is still very much leaking ooze directly from See-Thru. It is difficult to verify and authenticate, considered the current affected area is considered highly radioactive and toxic.

We at The Ghostly Fables believe there are many other undocumented Rips throughout The Ghostly. While we, the team of The Ghostly, are fully invested in the strange phenomenons of The ghostly, we put instead put our hope and trust in the reliable team of The Zepellin.
