Background:
Anise recalls very little from her past. One day she suddenly found herself waking up on the ground floor in the woods of The City of Hollowleaf. While she was scared, Anise was more confused than ever. Luckily, she ran into a living pumpkin where they took her back to the living pumpkin community. Deep within the woods, she quickly befriended the living pumpkins and their small neighbors. As she became more acquainted with the living pumpkins and her surroundings, Anise was quite happy with her life within the woods. Months passed and despite not recalling the time before, she calls The Woods of Hollowleaf, her home.
One day she was invited by one of the head pumpkins to visit the town of Hollowleaf. Upon their arrival, Anise was immediately met with a magical place full of so many different folks, buildings, and scenery. Her joy and excitement were clear and on her first day she greeted every single person they passed. Quickly she made a strong impression on the townsfolk and they've come to know her as the cheerful woodslin. She was the hyperactive tiny human from the woods and friend to all living pumpkins.
Personality:
Anise is a very exhilarating human girl that loves to have a fun time! Despite being human, she did not get the chance to develop strong interaction with those around her besides the living pumpkin community. She also has a big heart and cares deeply for the wildlife within the woods. She struggles with connecting with the other townsfolk and because of this, she spends most of her time playing in the woods. While this sometimes burdens her, Anise continues to be determined to live joyful and lively. She would rather have a fun time than letting pesky complex burdens drag her down.
Fashion Sense:
Anise rarely changes her outfits, but when she does it has to be in bright yellow! She sticks with outfits that are easy to move in and accepts the comfiest attire. The woods can be a dangerous playground, so she tends to wear long sleeves and pants to avoid getting scratched.
Platonic & Romantic Relationships:
Anise has very few friends, besides those from the woods. Recently, she's been able to attend school part-time in the town's part of Hollowleaf, where she was able to make a few new friends. They aren't as close as she is with her pumpkin family, but it's nice to chat outside the woods at times.
Anise has no memories of any past romantic relationships, and she's okay with that! She started befriending, and later crushing on, this peculiar vampire girl from Moonshadow Valley, Sophie! They actually first met when Anise found Sophie hurt in the woods. Of course, Anise rushed to the rescue and completely blue Sophie away. Despite being from different neighborhoods, the two have made it work through passing notes and meeting at the abandoned railroads located between the two. They love chatting most about Sophie's latest fanfiction and Anise's latest adventure. Neither have yet to express with feelings, but it's very clear that Anise and Sophie have reciprocated feelings
