Sunburst Beach
Sunburst Beach is a very chill and relaxing neighborhood in The Ghostly. It’s a very popular place for tourism due to its artsy and casual people, as well as its warm weather and beautiful shores.

Geography & Climate
Sunburst Beach is located along the coastline on the right side of the map of The Ghostly.
There, a mix of terracotta houses, brick walkways, parks, graffitied walls, and piers open the path to white-sand beaches and a seemingly endless blue sea.
The weather is warm and humid during the day through most of the year, with cloudy and breezy nights. There are only two noticeable seasons in this location: summer when there is no cloud to be seen for over 3 months and people go to enjoy the sea and sunbathe; and winter, when it downpours and waves are the tallest of all year, which is the favorite season for adventurous surfers and sea monsters.
Due to its strong connection with the sea and tourism, Sunburst Beach is a very commercial neighborhood. There are wooden shacks all along the shore that sell unusual items from far-away islands as well as local art and snacks.

Culture & Inhabitants
The culture at Sunburst Beach is very relaxed and casual, yet active. The residents of this neighborhood prefer to be straightforward and informal.
Wearing comfortable and colorful clothes is the right fashion choice here, unlike the moody attires that are so common at The Castle of Bloodroot or Moonshadow Valley. In fact, these cultural differences have created some sort of friendly rivalry between the fancy Moonshadow Valley and the laid-back Sunburst Beach, and it is quite common to find residents of both communities competing against each other in art, fashion, or urban sports. Some others would also make snarky comments on Moonshadow’s folks being too stuck-up or Sunburst’s folks being too unrefined, but that is rather uncommon.
The biggest event in Sunburst Beach is the Sun Festival, a 3-months-long summer celebration with carnivals, lights, and colorful decorations, to celebrate the warm season. The main events of it are the pier fair, the graffiti and art showcases, and the skateboarding competition. People from all around The Ghostly go to celebrate the festival and enjoy the famous Pinecoco Fishy, the most traditional dish of this region.
But not all is fun and games! This neighborhood’s main threat is the scary sea monsters and creatures that come up from the deep sea when it’s dark. Even when most of these beings are not malicious, they are always followed by destruction when they randomly come to town.
