Yolkytown

Yolkytown is a very cheerful and friendly neighborhood that almost everyone is welcomed to. This community is known to stick to their own matters and avoid unnecessary involvement with others, yet to be very open to kind-hearted strangers and to welcome them to their pleasant neighborhood.

The original builders of Yolkytown worked hard to keep their friendly community free of headaches and commotion, unlike what they would hear across the grasslands. But, at the same time, they made sure that this small neighborhood would solely be a community filled with warmth, love, and compassion for each other. Thanks to them, generations of families grew and build their livelihood in this quiet and friendly neighborhood.

Geography & Climate

Yolkytown is located in a flat grassland with scattered hills throughout the neighborhood, right between Moonshadow Valley and Sunburst Beach.

Similar to Moonshadow Valley, the majority of the buildings in Yolkytown are residential.

The triangle-shaped cabins in Yolkytown ooze warmth and fond memories for many. Bunches of fluffy moss, wild clovers, bell-shaped flowers, and wild grass surround the triangle homes. The tiny houses commonly have flat-wide stones embedded into the grass and wild plants that trail towards the tiny dirt roads. Off-white crumbling picket fences separate the tiny curving dirt roads. Shops built from stone and wood hang withering hand-painted signs.

The climate of Yolkytown is very predictably peaceful. Normally, the weather is sunny and warm, but at times it does get cloudy and chilly. This makes it a great place for all kinds of plants, animals, and people to live in. In fact, everyone seems to adapt very easily and live happily in this neighborhood thanks to the weather and landscape.

Culture & Inhabitants

The culture of Yolkytown is typically very open and welcoming.

Although, despite their kind attitude towards most strangers, the folks of this community are slower to warm up those from Moonshadow Valley, Shell Gardens, and The Castle of Bloodroot. Why all the prejudice towards these certain neighborhoods in particular? Well, it's all because of their "problematic" pasts, and scary influences that deeply troubled the builders of Yolkytown. Folks from these areas tend to be strictly avoided until their honest kindness or hospitality has been fully tested by someone in the community.

The folks from Yolkytown are very open and friendly towards each other and those they deem "safe to mingle with". Although, there is still some hesitation in interaction when a sign of something that may be seen as "problematic to the community" appears.  The gossip mill in Yolkytown is very strong and is to help keep each other "well-informed" and "safe".
